Privacy Policy

Dansk Rumskrot ApS ("we", "us", "our") develops and publishes apps for Apple platforms. This privacy policy explains how our apps handle your data.

The Short Version

We don't collect your data. Our apps are designed to work without sending personal information to us or any third party. Your data stays on your device and in your private iCloud account.

Data Collection

Our apps do not collect, transmit, or store personal data on any server operated by Dansk Rumskrot. We do not use analytics services, advertising SDKs, or tracking frameworks of any kind.

Data Stored on Your Device

Our apps may store data locally on your device to function properly. This includes:

• App preferences and settings — stored in the app's local storage
• Credentials (where applicable) — stored securely in your device's Keychain, encrypted by the operating system
• Collections, decks, and user content — stored in the app's local database
• Cached images — stored locally for offline access and performance

This data never leaves your device except via iCloud sync to your own Apple account (see below).

iCloud Sync

Some of our apps use Apple's CloudKit service to sync your data across your own devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud account, managed by Apple, and is not accessible to us. Apple's privacy policy governs the handling of data stored in iCloud.

Network Connections

Our apps may make network connections for their core functionality:

• Auth for Tesla connects directly to Tesla's OAuth servers for authentication. Your credentials are entered in a secure in-app browser and are never intercepted by or transmitted to us.
• ManaScope connects to the Scryfall API (a free, public Magic: The Gathering card database) to look up card data. No personal information is sent.
• Caravan Leveler uses peer-to-peer local networking to stream level data between your own devices. No internet connection is required.
• Rumskrot Remote connects directly to your Mac's built-in Screen Sharing service over your local network. No cloud relay is used.
• Rumskrot Terminal connects to SSH servers you specify. Connections are direct — no proxy or relay is involved.

Camera Usage

ManaScope uses your device's camera to scan physical Magic: The Gathering cards. All image processing happens on-device using Apple's Vision framework. Camera images are never transmitted over the network or stored beyond the scanning session.

Location Data

Caravan Leveler uses your location to calculate the sun's direction relative to your caravan. Your location is processed on-device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

In-App Purchases

Some of our apps offer in-app purchases or subscriptions processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs purchase transactions.

Children's Privacy

Our apps do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we don't collect personal information from anyone, this applies equally to users of all ages.

Third-Party Services

Our apps do not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only third-party services our apps communicate with are those essential to their function (Tesla's API, Scryfall's API) as described above.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
